This year Lauri Joona who competed in the WRC2 class of the World Rally Championship, will continue his season on the Croatian tarmac. Lauri and Kristian will participate in the final round of the ERC series next weekend supported by MRF Tyres.

The upcoming race will be Lauri Joona's fourth asphalt rally in Croatia.

- Croatia is a great country and the rally culture there is something truly amazing. We can expect a very challenging race, which is greatly affected by the weather conditions. In spring, there is usually a lot of gravel and mud on the road and I bet that in autumn there will be a new element of leaves falling from the trees. An interesting race is definitely coming, says Joona on the eve of the race.

Lauri Joona and co-driver Kristian Temonen will participate in the Croatian European Rally Championship in a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 car, entered by Team MRF Tyres. The first contact with the tire brand has already been made.

- We tested the MRF tires in Italy last week, and before the race we will have another test day in Croatia, says Joona.

Team MRF Tyres is in first place in the European Team Championship heading into the end of the season.

- Team points are important so the car should be brought to the finish line with honor. The goal is to drive at the best possible pace and gain Rally2 experience on asphalt. We haven't driven on asphalt much this season but we will do our best and try to bring as many points as possible to the team, Joona says of his goals for the upcoming race.

After Croatia, Lauri Joona's plans are to participate in the legendary Sanremo Rally in Italy, which will be held from October 17th to 20th.
